Andrew Humphrey
Chief Sales Officer
Andrew’s underlying principal in everything he does is customer success, he is responsible for leading the sales, marketing and technical side of the business. Andrew spent his early career in IBM and has since held leadership roles in companies such as Phoenix IT Group, Savvis and Teneo before joining Hardware. Outside of work Andrew is married with two boys and a dog which keeps him busy as does his passion for cars and shooting!
Gwyn Hicks
Chief Finance & Operations Officer
Gwyn joined Hardware in 2016 to implement and drive change through the business. A Chartered Accountant of 20 years, with an early career at PwC and then in commercial finance, Gwyn looks after the engine room of Hardware internationally, from Finance through to Logistics and Procurement. Which makes every day different, just the way he likes it. Out of the office, you’re most likely to find Gwyn in his wellies.
Stewart Holness
Executive Chairman
Stewart joined Hardware in 2015 as Executive Chairman. With an engineering and marketing background, he has helped two start-ups float on NASDAQ, whilst working with a number of technology businesses with growth challenges and ultimately trade sales. Stewart is currently a board member for Nuvias, Amulet, Zing360 and Kindeo. He enjoys shooting and fishing and is training for his fixed wing license on a 1943 Spitfire. Stewart also coaches rugby in his home town of Bath.

Ross Campbell
Head of Security Practice
With 11 year’s experience in the industry working for and closely with some of the largest software vendors such as Symantec, Veritas and Palo Alto. Ross now takes on the Head of Security Practice role at Hardware, working alongside their key strategic security vendors whilst always on the lookout for emerging security vendors. As a keen sportsman, his motivation, energy and drive combined with self-determination ensures he consistently meets his goals successfully both on and off the playing field.
Dan Orchard
Head of Cloud Practice
Dan has worked across all IT disciplines over 22 years, from web development, designing Land Rover UK’s first website to leading global projects in EMEA, Japan, Australia and the US. As Head of the Cloud Practice Dan has taken his knowledge and applied this to create Hardware’s Cloud enabled SaaS service offerings taking Hardware from a traditional VAR to a Cloud Solutions provider. When Dan isn’t working, he spends time with his family.
Duncan Imrie
Head of Finance
Duncan joined Hardware in December 2017 as Head of Finance. Duncan qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2007 and, after a two year spell at Deloitte in Bermuda, spent the eight years prior to joining Hardware in a variety of senior finance roles, primarily in the shoe and printing industries. Duncan is not all about the numbers – in his spare time he is a keen gardener and amateur beekeeper. Show me the honey!
Eddie Murray
Talent Acquisition Partner
Results-driven talent acquisition professional with extensive experience in the Staffing Industry spanning executive search, in house recruitment and contingency at an international level. Eddie is responsible for direct recruitment across Hardware as well as supporting recruitment activities for Hardware Distribution in South Africa. Outside of work I am a lifelong West Ham United fan (we all have our crosses to bear) and founding member of the benevolent and protective order of Subbuteo collectors.
Eileen Graham
Finance Manager
Emigrating from Scotland and joining Hardware in 2007, Eileen’s role encompasses daily Working Capital Management while leading the Credit, Treasury, Billing, Receivables and Payable functions. A pro-active, pragmatic and commercial approach ensures the teams work to deliver the best possible service with a customer focused “make it work” attitude. When not working Eileen likes to concentrate on her own personal challenge: being last off any dance floor, especially if the music is cheesy 80’s disco!
Elliott Horton
Head of Operations
Elliott joined Hardware in 2011 and is now an established part of the management team. Starting his Hardware journey in the logistics teams, Elliott now heads up UK Operations; driving efficiencies throughout all operational disciplines including support, sales and global logistics services. Elliott is currently studying for a Diploma in International Trade and holds a first-class Degree in Business Management. When he’s not studying, Elliott can be found on the golf course, birdwatching or playing guitar.
Greg Bennett
IT Development Operations Lead
Greg leads our genius DevOps team who cover all facets of our software development and IT operations, from code commits to cloud containers. With 15 years’ experience in various operational, architectural and commercial roles across cloud and datacentre – with everything in between – Greg harnesses his fanatical attitude to Kaizen to drive practical change through collaboration and creative problem-solving. An AWS zealot with a Linux habit since 1999, outside work, Greg loves enduro mountain biking and motorbikes.
James Ashley
Marketing Manager
Pixel-pusher at heart, James has successfully transferred 10+ years of digital experience into the Marketing landscape and implements strategies that increase brand awareness, lead generation and business critical projects. Originally from Devizes, home to the longest continuous flight of locks of any canal stretch in England, James enjoys rock-climbing and playing football when not entertaining two young energetic children. During meetings James often wonders how they got the table through the door of the boardroom.
James Morris
Sales Manager
James leads our new business and commercial account teams in the UK ensuring you receive dedicated personal service without delay. He has extensive experience leading and motivating sales and operational teams in-country pan EMEA and makes sure Hardware’s solutions and services align with and enhance your key IT business strategies. James is a qualified fine artist and self-published his own graphic novel a few years ago.
Julian Lawn
Head of ESS Practice
Julian left HPE to join hardware in 2005 to start a server and storage division, which has grown to become one of the most important parts of the business. Using experience gained from high profile projects, and a need to understand the product fundamentals, Julian’s design has become the standard for many of our clients. Julian is married with 4x young girls, 3x dogs and a cat, so it’s never quiet at his house!
Liv Duncan
HR Advisor
Liv joined Hardware as HR Assistant after moving to the Cotswolds from Bristol, where she studied for her Level 3 CIPD while working in HR for an international recruitment company. She progressed to HR Advisor within Hardware and is now working her way towards her Level 5 CIPD. Liv enjoys travelling, spending her time with family and friends and is guilty of being able to finish a series on Netflix in record time!
Mark Stovold
Service/Resource Manager
Mark has over 20 years’ experience working for leading global telecoms and IT businesses in senior operations and service management roles. He strives to deliver excellent customer service experience by applying his ITIL, Prince2 and Six Sigma specialisations. Mark says he loves the sense of achievement when resolving customer issues: “it beats wandering around a field in Wiltshire hopelessly trying to call my dog back from chasing a squirrel or deer”
Martin Finlayson
Head of Buying
Martin is an industry veteran with almost 20 years’ experience in the IT sector and is passionate about providing the best possible customer experience. Since joining hardware Martin has held multiple roles in the company spanning brokerage, sales management and now heads up buying in his most recent position . Outside of work Martin enjoys spending time with his family and is a founding member of the churn valley wild swimmers association.
Paul Bonner
Head of Technical
Paul is a proud Cornishman who has worked in the industry for over twenty-five years and been at Hardware since its inception in early 2003. Paul has travelled the world installing and relocating datacentre environments and works tirelessly to get the job done. When not sat in an airplane, Paul is a keen runner and has walked, crawled and dragged himself around many on and off-road races and is a member of Trail Walkers And Triathletes Society.
