Description

The QFX5200 line of fixed-configuration Ethernet switches delivers a line-rate, low-latency, and high-density platform for building large spine-and-leaf IP-fabric data center networks. This switch offers flexible 10GbE, 25GbE, 40GbE, 50GbE, and 100GbE interfaces for server and intrafabric connectivity, offering deployment versatility to future-proof your network investment.

The Ethernet switches come in three models:

  • QFX5200-48Y: 48x25GbE 1 U switch with 6x100GbE uplink ports for connecting to spine, making this an ideal switch for 25GbE access or leaf deployments with 100GbE spine. Additionally, it offers backward compatibility as 25GbE access ports can be configured to 10GbE, and the 100GbE uplink ports can be configured to 40GbE speeds.
  • QFX5200-32C: 1 U switch with 32x100GbE ports, featuring throughput of 3.2 Tbps. Ideally suited for leaf deployments in IP fabric networks, this switch features line-rate, high-density QSFP+ and QSFP28 ports that support 10GbE, 25GbE, 40GbE, 50GbE, and 100GbE connections.
  • QFX5210-64C: 2 U 64x100GbE high-density switch that allows you to eliminate tiers, thus reducing cost and management complexity. Ideally suited for lean spine deployments in data centres.
