Pre-Staging Services

At Hardware.com we have invested heavily in a dedicated Pre-Staging centre that allows us to completely build and test customer networks. This facility can be used by you or your customers to fully test proposed network designs before installation, which reduces the amount of onsite installation time. We can also provide dedicated technical support to supplement your engineers or to help you build your configurations.
 

Our Environment

We know that the right environment is essential to the successful completion of equipment pre-staging and we have used our many years of real-world experience to create our staging centre. We have installed sufficient cooling and power to allow us to build even the most demanding solutions. We have dedicated network testers in-house that can be used to generate traffic load and high levels of routing information into the test network to see how it performs under and beyond full load.

We have built a flexible work-space and use open racking which allows full access to the equipment for rapid cabling and installation. We can provide remote access via Opengear console servers which allow you to access any piece of equipment via the web.

A range of supplementary services such as VMWare can be provided to allow you to use images of your own servers to see how they perform within the new network. We can also provide access to additional network hardware so you can see how your new infrastructure operates alongside more legacy equipment.
