HP Proliant Servers

Confounding expectations, HP have just launched a 7th Generation of the hugely popular ProLiant server series. The first 3 versions to be released are the HP ProLiant DL165 G7 and HP ProLiant DL385 G7 rack-optimised servers, and the HP ProLiant SL165z G7. All will sport AMD's OpteronTM 6100 Series processors.



HP believes the operational efficiencies in the servers mean they will pay for themselves in as little as two months. All three of HP ProLiant G7 servers will get a worldwide launch in April and as a HP Preferred Partner, Hardware.com will be amongst the first companies in the World to sell them.
