News and Updates from LifeSize

The Logitech division is presenting their updated website aimed to make the user experience more useful  having  content in nine languages and solutions-based navigation with an enhanced search functionality. While it can be argued that this feature only serves the new customers, LifeSize has something for everyone as they also offer several product updates.

The UVC Multipoint, their first virtualized solution for on-demand video meetings has been upgraded to version 1.0.3 and is now available for trial on the UVC platform. With release notes available and a UVC Multipoint application for existing clients this looks very encouraging.

Bridge Version 2.0 software now offers high-availability clustering and new capacity options of 8 and 12 ports. Once upgraded you will receive a clustering licence as well.

ClearSea server got to version 3.1 and introduces multipart call escalation to UCV Multipoint. In this package it as also included the ClearSea Desktop Client version 8.1.10.

LifeSize Video Systems include LifeSize 220 Series and LifeSize Passport and can be upgraded to software version 4.11.4. It offers general security improvements and support for the previous mentioned updates.
