  • Experience and understanding of Cisco ISR routers and related modules, Cisco Catalyst workgroup and modular switches, Cisco security products and IPT technologies.
  • Experience of Cisco Voice products including Unified Communications Manager, Unity and Voice Gateways/Access Servers.
  • Demonstrable broad, practical knowledge of ICT technologies and full project cycle implementation.
  • Ability to grasp complex IT networking and software issues, and articulate those at a business level and within technical documents.
  • Ability to report clearly on events both verbally and in written form, including good technical specification and report writing skills, applicable to a broad audience at all levels of seniority, both internally and externally.

Job Purpose

  • Responsible for supporting the HP product manager and the sales teams to assist in sales of the HP product portfolio.

Responsibilities

The main duties are:
  • Assist the HP product manager where required, this will include order processing and other administrative duties.
  • Assist the sales teams to sell the HP Product Portfolio.
And:
  • Excel - Managing the HP backorder report.
  • Phone / E-Mail / Web / Back-end Systems - Locating stock, maintaining supplier relashionships.
  • Excel / Back-end Systems - Managing Trade-in / Buy-and-Try opportunities and HP stock levels.
  • Excel / E-Mail / Phone - Chasing orders and stock, liaising with Sales Support and Goods In.
  • Excel / Back-end Systems - Liaise with finance on supplier invoice discrepancies.
  • Excel / Back-end Systems - Manage HP website, add live products and remove EOL products.
  • Excel / Web - Manage HP Care Pack registration.
  • Helpdesk - Translate customer requests into working solutions.
  • Telephone - Establishing the customers key requirements.
  • Excel / Siebel / E-Mail - Prepare a quote and submit it to the sales account manger.

Skills Required

  • Confidence with Telephone / Excel & Email.
  • Some technical experience preferred.
