Sie leisten

Sie sind für die Umsetzung folgender Aufgaben verantwortlich:
  • Koordination sämtlicher Marketingaktivitäten (Schwerpunkt Online-Marketing)
  • Entwicklung und Umsetzung moderner, kundenorientierter Online-Absatzstrategien (B2B)
  • Erstellung von Marketingplänen für das Handelsmarketing der Hersteller
  • Einhaltung und Weiterentwicklung des Corporate Designs
  • Budgetplanung und -kontrolle
  • Steuerung externer Dienstleister
  • Wettbewerbsbeobachtung


Sie bieten

Marketing Manager for the USA


Job Title:

Reporting to:

Managing Director (USA) and Marketing Director

Main Job Purpose

  • Responsible for creating new content for US Hardware.com website; content from vendors, news stories, blogs, promotions and events.
  • Liaising with Hardware.com central marketing function; aligning marketing strategy and briefing creative for execution through UK marketing and IT development.
  • Managing and reporting on Email campaigns.
  • Responsible for digital/online promotion (SEO, adwords, affiliate marketing) of Hardware.com in the USA, with direction from Online Marketing Manager.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Creating content from multiple sources; including new website pages, a blog, news content, social media, new online technologies, automatic feeds and content sharing. Understanding of competitor activity regarding online marketing.
  • Responsible for developing a plan of marketing activity, agreeing and communicating that plan. Also the tactical implementation of the plan.
  • The plan will include development of the website and search engine optimisation, development of adwords campaigns with direction from the Online Marketing Manager and identifying the most suitable affiliate partners and developing a measurable affiliate programme.
  • Managing and reporting on customer email marketing campaigns through the CRM systems – Siebel experience preferable but familiarity with CRM systems an advantage.
  • Monthly reporting of activity, spend and results - lead tracking and reporting on best sales generation activity and empirical evidence for focus of activity.
  • Briefing creative with finalised/correct messaging, reducing redesigns and ensuring the creative process is as efficient as possible.
  • Trade-shows, Web-Ex initiatives, Seminars, white-paper campaigns, management to promote relationship building, customer surveys, collaboration with sales to effectively market for cross-selling into top accounts and new marketing initiatives for target accounts.
  • Support other marketing initiatives when required. Ad-hoc tasks, as required by the Managing Director that include, but are not limited to assisting in all aspects of marketing, including any off-line activities.
  • Success will be measured by increase in leads generated and conversion to sales.

  • Maintain a professional and polite disposition at all times, especially when liaising with other departments, so that business priorities come first, not just this role’s priorities.

European Marketing Manager

  • Responsible for digital/online promotion (SEO, adwords, affiliate marketing) of Hardware.com in our developing markets across Europe – France, Italy and Germany.
  • Ensuring a clear and simple methodology for ease of translation and communication with the European sales teams.
  • Success will be measured by increase in leads generated and conversion to sales.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring there is a smooth process for translations, ensuring that the sales teams are informed of activity in advance and working in close collaboration with those teams to meet lead generation targets.
  • Monthly reporting of activity, spend and results - lead tracking and reporting on best sales generation activity and empirical evidence for focus of activity.
  • Engagement strategy for the European websites; including a blog, news content, social media, new online technologies, automatic feeds and content sharing. Understanding of competitor activity regarding online marketing.
  • Briefing creative with finalised/correct messaging, reducing redesigns and ensuring the creative process is as efficient as possible.
  • Liaising with the IT Development team and European web development specialist, understanding business priorities and managing as many projects as possible on own initiative.
  • Support other marketing initiatives when required. Ad-hoc tasks, as required by the Marketing Director that include, but are not limited to assisting in all aspects of marketing, including any off-line activities.

Skills Required

  • Fluency in English, preferably with a second language – French, Italian or German.
  • Motivated, enthusiastic and proactive.
  • Management of European marketing process; methodical and organised.
  • Demonstration of success in a previous role managing developing markets.
  • Ability to manage expectations and develop effective marketing strategy.
  • This is a hands-on role that requires self-motivation and expertise as all activity is conducted in-house.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • The ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain a professional and polite disposition at all times, especially when liaising with other departments, so that business priorities come first, not just this role’s priorities.
